CGSociety held a digital art challenge on depicting an animated concept movie trailer based on Greg Bear's science fiction novel EON. This is a scene where Lanier is explaining facts about the Thistledown asteroid to Patricia.

thought I'd mention that my Science Fiction Book Club discussed Eon recently and it really had polarising effect of people. People ether loved or hated it, with nobody in between.
Characterisation (or the lack of it) and the sheer number of characters were the main criticism people had. Thought the overall concept/story was one people really enjoyed.
The Science Fiction Book Club, meets every 2nd Monday of the month in Central London (UK).
